Teen Leadership Summit to launch in February

Goizueta Business School will host its first Teen Leadership Summit on Saturday, February 10th from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Goizueta students, including organizers Kevin Quandt 07MBA, Gita Rai 07MBA, Ben Slaughter 07MBA and Stephen Tilley 08MBA, will connect with a diverse group of local high school students and teach them practical business and leadership skills. After the opening ceremonies, the students will be divided into teams and organized to participate in one of three tracks: the Business Case Competition, Leadership Skill Workshop, or the Servant Leadership Module.

Goizueta Gives, the MBA Program’s community service club, is spearheading the project. This year, the club wanted to make a lasting impact and partnered with 21st Century Leaders, a non-profit organization that focuses on developing aspiring students’ business and leadership skills. All 150 teens attending the event are members.

For more information on the organization, visit www.21stcenturyleaders.org.
