New faculty talent joins Goizueta

J.B. Kurish
Associate Professor in the Practice of Finance. Formerly a clinical associate professor of finance at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Kurish’s research interests include investment banking, financial markets, state and local government finance, and managerial and strategic decision making.


Daniel Byrd
Visiting Assistant Professor of Organization and Management. Byrd joins Goizueta from Stanford University, where he served as assistant professor of strategic management. His research interests include implications of socio-economic structures for learning and competitive interaction, networks and knowledge flows, product development process, and theory of the firm.

Tracy Dumas
Visiting Assistant Professor of Organization and Management. Dumas was most recently an assistant professor of organizational sciences at The George Washington University. Her research focuses on role and organizational identification, multiple role enactment and role boundaries, interpersonal interaction in work settings, and work-group diversity.

Mahmut Yasar
Visiting Assistant Professor of Finance. No stranger to the Emory community, Yasar was previously a visiting professor in the Department of Economics. His research interests include international business, microeconomics of international trade and investment, and technological change and transfer.

Arne Floh
Postdoctoral Visiting Scholar. Floh earned a PhD in marketing from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration. His research interests include customer behavior, relationship marketing and electronic marketing.

Two additions to the adjunct faculty include Lyle Fogarty 03MBA, an instructor in finance offering courses in real estate development, and Tim Halloran, an instructor in marketing who will teach brand management.
