New faculty Two new faculty members are coming to Goizueta from Big Ten schools this year to join the marketing and organization and management programs. J. Douglas Bowman joins Goizueta as an associate professor of marketing after five years at the Krannert Graduate School of Management at Purdue University. Bowman was the sole faculty member from the business program to receive Purdue's Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Award, which he won four years running. He received his Ph.D. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the editorial review board for the Journal of Business-to-Business Marketing and reviews for the Journal of Marketing Research and the International Journal of Research in Marketing. Joseph F. Porac will join the Goizueta faculty as professor of organization and management in June following twelve years with the University of Illinois, where he most recently served as interim director of the Office of Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship within the College of Commerce and Business Administration. Porac served as an officer of the Academy of Management's Organizational and Management Theory Division for five years. He has co-authored four books on management structure and holds a Ph.D. in social psychology from the University of Rochester. G.F. |
